What’s Up at Logan?

Logan will eventually look like this. For now, strange traffic pattern, ugly, and few flyers

While flying is only at about 10% of capacity right now, construction is snarling traffic at Logan, especially before and after C Terminal. This could add a minute or two to the trip. The trip from Framingham to Logan is about :28 most of the day, about :35 during rush hour. That is about :15 less than it was B.C. (before Covid).

Lines inside the terminal are rare, particularly very early or mid-day. Plan to arrive at Logan 1:15 ahead of your flight if you are alone and with minimal luggage. A bit more if you are with others, have a lot of luggage, or have difficulty getting around.

If you are wary of flying, that makes sense. I hear stories that some airlines are packing people like sardines, while others (Jet Blue) always have extra space for social distancing. But stress can be high when wearing a mask for hours.
